Pan-Am Tae Kwon Do Academy located in Imperial Beach, CA, is probably the BEST traditional martial arts school you’re going to find ANYWHERE in San Diego or even Southern California. Olympic-style and Traditional style Tae Kwon Do is taught here. Grandmaster Ray Nam Kim teaches the Tae Kwon Do Oath and also the Tenets of Tae Kwon Do. I have learned perseverance, self-control, to have an Indomitable Spirit and to keep my promises and do what I said to do. What I have found is that when I apply the principles of Tae Kwon Do to my everyday life, everything is enriched. I am so very grateful to Grandmaster Kim and Pan-Am Tae Kwon Do Academy for what I have learned here. We are taught early on, the literal definition of “Tae Kwon Do” and the philosophy behind Tae Kwon Do. In the past 6 months since I have started, I have fallen in love with Tae Kwon Do. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I cannot thank Grandmaster Kim enough for his excellent instruction and for making his Dojang not only a place to learn martial arts, but, also a home.
