Have attempted to get food multiple times now and there was some "technical issue" today, aka I don't think they checked the GrubHub orders, since they had no clue what the food I was there to pick up was. The place was not busy at all today. A previous time I went in as the place was opened and I was told that the restaurant was not ready for food orders yet and that I would have to wait for them before I could put an order in. Highly unprofessional on multiple accounts. The few times I have ate them the food is alright, but it is not that good just the most convenient Mediterranean place by me. It is very disappointing how unprofessional they have shown themselves to be. VIP is an ironic name choice. This place has me missing a great Mediterranean place in Louisville, if there was anything similar to that here this place would be put out of business easily.

Mediterranean in Kentucky? Absolutely. Let’s start by the ambiance which takes you back home to Lebanon, Turkey or Egypt - the decor and music get you in the groove to eat good food. The secret home made tea also transports you. The food is flavorful, and not too salty with just the perfect spices. The service by Tomy and team are outstanding. I will definitely return.

I have eaten fairly regularly at this location over the past decade or so, through many management changes. Tonight, under yet-again-new-management, was indubitably the worst. I ordered the gyros salad. I knew I was probably headed for trouble when none of the staff, including the manager, knew how to pronounce "gyros". The meat actually wasn't bad, and it was plentiful. The rest of the salad was dismal. Shredded romaine, a few slices of tasteless tomato, a few bits of diced cucumber, and the coupe de grace, a sizable pile of slices canned black olives. No dressing but for a couple dollops of tzatsiki in the corners. Others in my party were similarly disappointed.

I always pick up in here for doordash orders. These guys are awesome. Super friendly and actually care about their guests. I've finally had the opportunity to order for myself tonight. I ordered myself a classic gyro combo and let me tell you best gyro I've ever tasted in my life. Gyros are one of my absolute favorite and something I try to order at most places just to see how they are. These guys are the real deal. My gyro tasted authentic and the size of it was huge compared to most places. 100% recommend this place! Great quality and value for your money.
