Doctor Pyle and VCA of El Cajon have really impressed me. I own a dog daycare business and have had to work with many vet offices over the years, but I've never worked with one as proactive or compassionate as this place. I recently brought my Boxer in to resume treatment that had already started with another vet practice. Doctor Pyle clearly took the time before my visit to catch up on my dogs case so we could resume his care immediately without missing a beat. She was compassionate, took the time to listen to all of my concerns, gave great referrals and followed up the next day. The front desk person I spoke to was also very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be bringing both of my dogs here from now on.

Loved this place so much for my teddy. I was really worried about him but they assured me he was okay. they provided me so many option to help with some itch relief and rashes also gave me some reasons it could happen. Very friendly DEF would recommend.

One Star is too high for this place. I have now paid $330 for one office visit including a cancellation fee. This place is a racket. The customer service at this place is awful. Come to find out they have a reputation for unfriendly & unhelpful staff at the front desk. The first time they were rude I brushed it off. The second time, [when they both had grins on their face as they almost laughed out loud at my mistaken arrival time], I took my business elsewhere. They push hard for you to sign up for a yearly care plan for your puppy. Do not do it!! When you get tired of the rude old ladies up front, they will charge your card without any advance notice or courtesy. I do not like wasting money but honestly the final CC charge ($178) is a small price to pay to not have to deal with these grouchy lemons anymore. Caring people do not send their pets to this uncaring and unkind place.

The best place to take your fur babies. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Everyone is very welcoming and the entire process and experience is easy. Spacious waiting area, potty areas, cat corner, television, magazines and complementary beverages! All of my pets have received special care and treatment...I feel like he is their only patient, they call him by name and are very warm with him. Amazing staff and pet interaction...amazing staff and parent interaction.

Low cost spaying. SNAP Spay and neuter scooter. They're awesome and low cost. All my cats were spayed and neutered by them
Yes, towards the bottom of the page. https://vcahospitals.com/animal-medical-center-el-cajon/services
Yes they do...when our elderly black cat passed a few years ago we took her there. They were kind, gentle and caring. They carried her little body away gently and told us we could take our time. They returned her ashes in a lovely little wooden box with her name carved on it. Also they took a clay impression of her little foot. I highly recommend them. So sorry for the loss of your little friend.
Yes there is an emergency fee if you go in before a certain time. I would call to verify the hours and rate but had to take my cat in back in February and the emergency rate started at $80
Yes there are at least two USDA certified Vets here currently
Hmm? Post on their website or at the vet?
Yes but this vet is not very good.I won't ever take my dog there again.
They accept Care Credit. They have a financial advisor that can help you sign up for it.
You need to call. You will probably have an exam fee and a cost for medicine if they only fine that problem. Being a puppy they will probably try to up sell you on vaccines and other proactive treatments.
Your kitty is a patient at VCA el cajon right? If so i would call them to bring up her chart and advise you on her doses, that would be best. You dont want to over dose her. That could cause more issues and it could be a costly one too. If you dont have a account there. I would hold off till morning till you contact your regular vet. But you might want to consider VCA el cajon as your new vet there open 24/7. There a little more $ but its worth it for peace of mind and there wounderful, caring facility!!!! Wishing you the very best for you and your kitty😊💗by the way I'm in the medical field too, on graveyard shift 😉
I had to put my dog down in 2016 and it was about $65
Go to the vet! Mangr can be very serious and fleas can cause other diseases.
Yes they do as long as they get their money that's all they're concerned about they try and talk you into expensive procedures you don't really need
They do... At two levels. If you pay a little more you are able to retain the ashes, and they make a casting of the paw print. Loosing a pet is difficult. Im praying for peace for you.
I called to ask once and they have two options, a private room with web cam and a kennel room where they can see/ hear other animals. I think the private one was $40 a night, but call to make sure.
