Janny Concha is THE BEST. She is knowledgeable, competent, reliable, and she has a great personality. I became so fond of her during my therapy sessions, that having just completed the program, I miss seeing her already. Her therapy literally eliminated the pain in my back, which turned my life around. My gratitude is infinite.

Very knowledgeable therapists. Exercise equipment specifically designed for improving your spine, neck and back. The therapists have tablets that maintain your history from prior visits.

In my life, I've had therapy (physical, massage and aquatic) in one form or another over the past 25 years from C1-S1. Their method of therapy is not just pick up a weight & do it, they evaluate, monitor & LISTEN to you at all times, rather it be pain, a machine setting, or fatigue. The personnel are GREAT to work with, even if you land up changing therapist for any reason (i.e. bad flu season,) I highly recommend Spine Zone La Mesa & their Maintenance Program. If you're looking at a place that will help reduce the amount of opioids taken on a daily basis, THIS IS THE PLACE & worth the trip from any part of San Diego County to go. :)

Do I need a referral from my primary doctor? And will United Healthcare cover my cost?

Kathy Howard | Aug 22, 2019
SpineZone La Mesa | Aug 22, 2019

Hello Kathy! If you have an HMO you will need a referral to start. If you have a PPO give us a call at 844-316-7979, x2 and speak with our New Patient Team. We do take United and will look up your benefits. We can start you now without a referral, but since our program is typically 7-10 weeks you will need a prescription from your MD within a month to continue. California regulations limit physical therapy beyond 45 days without an MD prescription. We look forward to getting you help! Frank
