Great lady at the front cash register. Very happy, very helpful. First time in a long time that this has happened

Thomas B. at the Smithville location is amazing. Extremely helpful, polite, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed.

Went in today to get fittings for my father's brake lines. And the gentleman that I don't know if you would call it assisting, but it seemed like he had no interest in helping me find the correct size. So needless to say I had to take a shot in dark for the correct size and still ended up with the wrong size. Been going to this store for years but may just have to switch store

Ordered two simple items online and the old dude with the gray hair and ponytail said “we don’t have that item” and proceeds to give me the wrong hose I ordered Without me realizing until getting into my car. I go right back in and he said “the computer reads by the code which said this hose” and proceeds to take 30 minutes to work the computer and give me a refund. But then I couldn’t get the item I needed since I didn’t bring any extra money with me since I paid for what I needed online. Dude was super unapologetic and acted like it wasn’t even his fault. Go somewhere else if you want to get the right parts you order and don’t want to wait in a 30 minute line.

How do you tell if your solenoid has went out

Ruth Nelson Winkle | Jun 27, 2020

Listen for the solenoid to click when the key is turned. Have a friend turn the key in the ignition to attempt to start the vehicle. Listen carefully, as you should hear a click when the starter solenoid engages. If you do not hear a click, the starter solenoid is likely not functioning properly. Or you can try to find a mobile mechanic.
