I live in Connecticut and I’m trying to make a purchase for my son to pick up at this location as he stays close by. I have one question and I’ve been calling the store for half an hour and nobody answers except for one lady who doesn’t speak English and placed me on hold forever, still nobody answered. This is horrible service. Really horrible!

This location has vastly improved over the last few years. Even on weekday mornings when store traffic is slow, they have enough registers open to make checkout fast. Last time I was there they had two and opened up a third when the lines got more than a handful of customers waiting. They still have plenty of self checkouts for the people that like to use those, but we are no longer forced to use them or wait in unreasonably long lines. The staff on entering and exiting are polite and friendly. Customer service personnel are helpful and do not keep you waiting an unreasonable amount of time (unlike the branch in hialeah Gardens). The store managers picture greets you with a smile as you enter the store, a direct contrast to the scowling picture posted of the store manager at the Hialeah gardens store. In a nutshell, everything about this store is better than it’s neighbor to the south. Even the gas line is better organized and more efficient. It’s worth going a few extra miles if you have to to visit this location. ***********Edit********** It’s been six months, and I’ve been happy with this store until todays visit which soured me enough to take away a star and reconsider shopping here again. First off, the roof has numerous leaks. There were buckets all over the store catching drips which is not aesthetically pleasing at all. I even got dripped on while shopping. (Left side of store by the hot dogs and bacon). Second, they only had self checkout registers open. On a Saturday !!!! I had a full cart of groceries. I don’t like to, but will use self checkout if I have a handful of items, but even then, I always have a problem where I have to wait for someone to come swipe their card, so as a personal preference, I do not like self checkouts. What made it unforgivable, to me, was that there were two employees just standing around talking. I don’t think they were there to assist with self checkout problems, but we’re there to point us customers to which self checkout we were to use. I asked if they only had self checkout today, and they told me that that was the case. They weren’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. That’s when I said “see ya later” and left the store. Two of the self checkouts “help me” lights were flashing and these employees were just standing there. By that time, Costco was open so I went there instead. It’s a shame because up until now, I had really liked this location which is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of one.

Is incredible. I'm a bjs member for two many years. I have a trailer with my equipments. Going to put gas and they stop my pump and tell me I can't no put gas with trailer on. Talk to the manager (Brian)and he tells me with bad attitude going to customer service to get a refund on my card. They prefer to cancel my membership. They don't care about the members. This is ridiculous. Just for the record. What I have is a regular pick up with a regular trailer. And there is no sign around the gas station.
