Rude and prideful Doctors. Get to know your patients! I have been begging for your help but I have too give you an arm and a leg for you to barely understand my symptoms. I had a rude doctor scream at me at the phone too, when I was trying to explain my pain. As a doctor you ought to know the conditions of your patients, especially when I have been in severe debilitating pain for almost a year now and consistent in my symptoms. Oh and they misdiagnosed my low back. I got a second mri outside the VA and they saw I tore my annulus and have to get surgery, but the VA completely missed that!

A clinic holding sensitive records that requires a security check upon entrance. A multicultural staff that reflects the surrounding community. Quick and proficient lab services. Dedicated doctors who are probably overworked and underpayed. Public transportation will result in a long walk from the trolley station.

I have been taking my Dad to the VA system here in San Diego for a little over a year. We have been pleasantly surprised at the kindness and exceptional service we have received, considering the typical gossip about our VA health system. My Dad has gotten the best treatment and attention I could ask for. One of the biggest parts of getting good health care is being a good patient or patient advocate. Thank You SD VA!!

My comments go partly to Jasmine, who first of all needs to learn how to write, speak, and present herself; after that, I would like to address the service I have received from this organization. I used to live in Phoenix, AZ where I thought the service there was also excellent. This VA is extremely helpful, caring, and understanding. I am veteran who served for more than 7+ years and feel the VA has been more than generous to all I know who have had the privilege to utilize their services. Kudos to the VA in Mission Valley. Also, thank you for your service.

I believe medical is moved.
Not at Mission Valley VA
Unless you have a 100% disability rating, the VA does not offer dental services. Contact your congress person and demand that the VA provide dental services to all veterans.
I this is going to be a department by department situation.
They will order your meds and have them mailed to you or you can go up to the hospital at UCSD in UTC
There is an optometry clinic here but they mail out the glasses
Yes
Only if he/she has active duty service.
What clinic are you looking for? There are different clinics there... Like Opthalmology (eye clinics), PT/OT, SCI, etc... But to answer your question, when you go in the front of the hospital, walk back towards the store. You will see elevators...make a right and walk down that hallway. You will pass Podiatry/PT/OT check in desk to your left, walk further and you will find elevators (they are in a corner so keep your eyes open) that will take you to Optometry, walk further down and to your left is the spinal cord clinic. Walk further and your at the back parking lot.
No, but they do have a bus stop on site and they have bus route maps with the schedule, for free inside the facility
U can also call if you don't want to waste a trip. Many forms you can do online.
