We were excited to save almost $300 by coming to this location to pick up our vehicle rather than pick up in Lincoln. We got there and got the paperwork all done then the guy handed us the keys to a Jeep Compass. He didn’t help us find the vehicle in the lot just said here you go. We used the panic to find the jeep. We looked it over and the outside looked pretty dirty but when we opened it there was dirt inside too, so it hadn’t been cleaned. I went back and he got me another set of keys, and again had to use the panic to find it. It was cleaner but there was a maintenance message on the dash that said return to dealer. We didn’t feel comfortable with that. When we told the guy, he said they just forgot to reset it after the oil change. Still not comfortable we got a different vehicle. It was clean and started fine so I took it. Got down the road turned on the air conditioner and cigarette smell rolled out. It was awful. I was disappointed because we were already running behind, but there was no way I could drive 10 hours in this vehicle. I called the 27th and O location in Lincoln and asked if they could help me out. They were wonderful and switched me for a different vehicle that was clean and they went to the lot and looked the vehicle over to make sure it was good to go. If I learned anything you get what you pay for and the customer service in Lincoln was top notch and the location in Omaha was lacking very much.

Employees at this AVIS rental facility were prompt, efficient, polite and professional in every way. The facility is conveniently located and has ample parking space for rental cars plus customer vehicles during the pick-up and drop-off transaction.

Convenient location if you don't want to pay the enormous airport taxes/fees for a rental. But they have less than a professional appearance, cut off shorts and cigarettes hanging out of their mouth, if that matters to you. Also they charge additional deposits that are not noted in the contract or disclose by the desk staff. On a more positive note, the car was nice, clean, location easy to get in and out of, quick Uber ride to the airport.

It’s to much work for one person. Nobody knows anything even Heather she sent me right to Customer Service hold for 35 minutes only to still not resolve a problem that happened with her location! I gave my information to Tyler which then made my coupon appear used! The car was Dirty all of the cars were. It snowed a day later and it was Nothing to clean the car off Literally Nothing. Smdh It was not Covid cleaned at all! Do not rent without having your own cleaning supplies because it’s not been cleaned looked like dog hair in the backseat! I don’t do DOGS. Avis has been disappointing lately but this location makes me really wonder! I will be reaching out to Cooperate. Oh yea still my issue wasn’t fixed. Requested calls back from Supervisor as well as the dept in which was supposed to help me! Disappointed over 30year Customer!

We will perform a credit check for debit card renters to determine credit worthiness at the time of rental. The renter must meet Avis’s minimum criteria in order to rent. We DO NOT accept Pre Paid cards.
