Decent place to walk. I would recommend though not going during summer, as it was above 90 degrees when I went and it was hot and I mean really hot there is absolutely no shade cover here as it is a meadow.

Wonderful walk, I did 3 rounds at 1.8 miles with my pup. It was so nice and got my 5 miles in early.

My family and I walk this trail often. The trail is wide and fairly flat. We have frequently used our bike-tire style stroller with no issues, just a bumpy ride for our toddler. About mid-way through the trail there is an option to continue on the flat terrain through the field or go right into the woods. With the stroller we always stick to the left/straight on the level path. The view is pleasant and it is beautiful to see the foliage change through the seasons.

Questions & Answers

Is there another park like this in this area

Jackson Bog (near Canton / Massillon) is worth the drive... A trail through the woods, a boardwalk through the bog, lots of wildlife, carnivorous plants... Very cool. :)

Can someone answer my question, do you have to pay or live near the park to come. Or can anyone come to this park??

It is free and open to the public. It is mainly a 2-mile walking trail with two separate little vantage points to look at nature. At the start of the trail there are some picnic tables and outhouse style bathrooms.
