The folks at Ronald McDonald house are absolutely wonderful!! We needed a place to stay as a family member unexpectedly was flown to bend hospital. They were there with an apartment for all our family to be close to their mother and spouse when we needed, absolute god send. Thank you staff from the bottoms of our hearts!!

They're the best! They really go out of their way to support & help you in any way they can. If your Child needs hospitalization for long term or if you live a long distance to one. I highly suggest that you call them or a hospital social worker. We'd give them a five thumbs up. Their just a wonderful organization💙

When I first walk through the doors of the Bend Ronald McDonald house I was already amazed, I was automatically welcomed by the most kind hearted staff I’ve ever seen. No kidding! Before I go farther, here’s a short situation story. Before showing up to the Ronald McDonald house me and my fiancé had gone through so many life changing things within the past week. He took me to the hospital to have our baby girl at 33 weeks. We weren’t expecting to have her for at least another month. So to our surprise she came. She was put in the NICU right after birth. Everything for the welcoming of this little girl was planned differently everyday, exhausted from being in labor for a week. First time ever seeing my daughter she was on support. It was pretty stressful for me because I wanted things a bit differently. So anyway, since walking into the front doors of the McDonald house I’ve been treated like family, while being away from my own except my little girl who is still in NICU. Christmas is coming in two weeks and they will be giving gifts to the family’s that will be here for Christmas. I honestly had happy tears that a place like this even existed during a time so hard. They offer food that is donated to them, a Laundry room, they have a family room with movies, play room for the kids, they have a library, and newly renovated cozy rooms that make me think of the cutest “studio” you can ever stay in. This place is very clean and warming like home. Thank you Ronald McDonald house and everyone who donates to them for everything during a difficult time like this because without this I wouldn’t be close to my daughter to attend to her needs so quickly. I’d be driving from Redmond to bend everyday during a icy, rain or snow winter. Hopefully these photos will show you the beauty of this place ❤️

Ronald McDonald House of Bend helped a dear friend stay close to her son after she was airlifted to St. Charles Hospital due to pregnancy complications. We were so grateful mom and baby could be close, not only for health reasons, but for bonding. As volunteers for this organization, my husband and I have seen the compassion of the staff, the impressive work ethic of Kristy, Tia and Teresa who keep the program and the people uplifted and provided for day in and day out, and the tremendous gratitude on the faces of the residents who stay there whenever we have cooked a meal at the House. The House is immaculately clean and our community is so much better for having it available to families in need. God bless the entire Ronald McDonald House of Bend team!! Ed & Andi Buerger

Housing is for the parents of sick kids that live far away. That is my understanding.
I dont know for sure but my guess would be yes. I would suggest you giving them a call to get confirmation.
