We reserved a 4 door sedan and they gave us a pickup!!! I have arthritis in my spine and pelvis and it was hard to get in the pickup!!! There was NO running boards to help. If I wanted a off road pickup I would have reserved one.!!!!

I had a great experience with the rental counter. The car was perfect. I had to return the car before hours, and I was impressed by my promptly emailed receipt that matched my quote. However, I was charged an additional no show fee, when I clearly showed and rented the car. When I called to have it fixed, I was told it would need to be addressed by a supervisor. I have been waiting to be contacted by a supervisor, and in the meantime I have been charged ANOTHER no show fee! I am very disappointed by the errors and the lack of timely response.

Do not under any circumstances use this rental car company. We were falsely charged $1900, $900 and $600 when our original agreement was $450. This caused our credit card to be flagged for fraudulent activity and closed right as we were beginning our vacation. After hours of phone calls and over a period of 3 days, our situation has still not been rectified. We will be escalating this!

After pre-paying for a rental car through Orbitz, the Hertz counter at the Spokane airport insisted on charging me in FULL for the rental— or I would have to forfeit my PREPAID RESERVATION. I was literally stuck with either double paying for a car reservation or not getting a car *and* losing my prepaid deposit to Orbitz (it was non-refundable). The Hertz employees assured me the manager would fix the issue (apparently Orbitz and Hertz don’t play well together— and this is a well know fact??) Upon returning the car, the manager was unable to fix the issue— although he stated he had been trying to fix it for four business days. Having already paid in full, but being charged in full AGAIN could devastate some family vacations. And It happened at Hertz Spokane. Word of advice: NEVER pre-pay a rental car again… and there are plenty of rental car options in Spokane. I’ve had great service at both Avis and Enterprise in Spokane. I will avoid the Hertz counter. Orbitz and Hertz Spokane should both be ashamed. Just because you can’t get your systems to work together does not give you the right to double charge my credit card. And promising to remove the charge 5 days later is not an acceptable resolution. Vacation was over by then.

Hi Camelia, Just give us a call that night if your flight gets delayed past our closing time. Also put your flight information in your reservation if that option is available with your booking site so we know if we need to stay past closing for your rental pickup if delays arise . They want it back by one but realistically they are gonna give you the shaft regardless
