Absolutely loved my experience at Pacific Eyecare! The front office staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The Doctor did a great job on my exam and I would recommend them to anyone! My family will be coming here for eye care for a very long time.

Staff is super great, friendly and accommodating. I let them choose my frames and I get compliments daily. Appointments are quick and easy with no fuss.

While the exam process and vision specialist was great, the staff is something to be desired. It took over 3 weeks for my order to come in. They were on back order, that's okay. But no one called me to tell me that so that I could maybe get them somewhere else. Called them on a Monday morning and left a voicemail, this was just over 2 weeks after I placed an order. Waited and waited. Called on a Thursday and was placed on hold, had to go back to work so I hung up. Called the next week, on Tuesday and got a hold of someone. The person on the phone got my name and said "oh yeah, we were going through our messages". I left a voicemail over a week ago. She got on the phone and told me my order came in on Friday and they didn't call me cause they were only in the office for half a day on Fridays. But they didn't call me Monday either. I said okay and hung up. I go to get them the next day. Get to the office to learn they moved location, thankfully not far, but no one told me they moved. I get to the office, the lady asked me if I had an appointment, I said no I am picking up contacts. Again, she asked me if I had an appointment. I need an appointment to pick up my contacts? Again, no one said anything about that. I get the bill and their twice as much as what I would get online and I would have gotten them much faster. Will not order my contacts through them again. Rude office. Charlotte is awesome though, very nice. But I don't get to deal with her much. Thanks for the message. I totally understand that the policies have changed because of Covid and that I now need to set a time to get my order. But I didn't know that was a requirement still, it had been over a few months since I have been to the office and didn't know that was still the policy. The lady I spoke to when I asked about my contacts being in never mentioned me needing an appointment or asking if I wanted to set up one. And while I do understand that it is a policy, it is still quite inconvenient for people to setup an appointment to get contacts. It took me maybe 5 minutes. And people have to work. So if you didn't have a time available for me to come get them the next day, I have to wait additional time to pick it up for when you have a five minute opening? Just, have the staff tell people. I had the same problem for when I picked up my glasses several months ago. No one told me I needed an appointment then either. (They had left a voicemail saying they had come in, never said I had to call back or set an appointment). So I had just shown up the next day and the lady was totally rude about me not having an appointment.

What insurance do you take?

Our office takes most commercial (Premera, Kaiser, etc) and state (Medicare/Medicaid) insurances.

Hi Dr Myers, I had cataract surgery starting on Jan 28th and second surgery Feb 4th. The last couple of days I've had some burning and itching in my eyes. Is there something over the counter that you could recommend for that. Thanks

Hi Diane! Thanks for asking the question... sorry we didn't see it sooner. Generally you can use OTC artificial tears for burning. They often will feel better when they are cold, so you may want to keep them in the fridge. Pataday is a great allergy drop that just went over the counter and that may help with itching. You will want to consider a preservative free articial tear if you are using the drops more than 4x/day.
