Arrived about 10am and Gate was locked today. Not sure why. Bummer. There was a sign on the approach road that the boat ramp was closed. I had hoped to get a little fishing in since my wife was in a sewing class all day.

On the south shore of Liberty Lake there is a public fishing site tucked into the line of vacation homes and private beaches. Although the parking area fights for space in the compact site, the boat launch works for smaller craft. A fishing dock elevated above the water parallels the shore. The best part is beautiful view across the lake to the mountains south. I last saw the scene on a flat water day in March. Gorgeous!

only use if you have a small boat. No places to park for trailers longer then 20ft. Also small dock with only one side to launch and a steep ramp. The wind blows you way from the dock into the rocks. With as much money as liberty lake gas you would think they would provide a nicer boat launch

You can night fish, but the boat launch closes at 10pm

Just buy a fishing license, and youll get a vehicle access pass. Watch out though, vehicle access pass only works at some spots. Other spots you need a discovery pass, which is stupid and a way for the state to make more money.
You cant fish off the boat launch dock. You can fish off the fishing dock, but i havmt caught anything on that side in a while. Im usually at the far left at the slab by the fence that fell in the water. Still mediocre fishing there.
No launch cost, but you need to have a WDFW access pass. You do not need a discover pass.
