The WORST treatment facility ever. Basically a prison, not a program. Horribly under-staffed, leading to the population being completely out of control. Gangs, violence, theft, and the worst staff ever (especially the lady in charge who looks like an old beat up leather bag, didn't get her name). Residents getting sick and spreading it around, no masks during Covid, they aren't even trying to stop the spread of disease in here. Observed food poisoning happening to other clients. "Rehabilitation program" was watching TedTalk videos about addiction and coloring. Impossible to focus on recovery when you're dealing with 80+ out of control women fighting with each other 24/7. Loud, unsupervised, not a healing environment in any way. Most women in there came there straight from prison. When I decided to leave they held my things hostage, wouldn't let me make a phone call, and were screaming at me about how "dumb" I was. This is because when someone leaves, they look bad and they don't get paid. The staff they do have is uncaring, rude, and power-trippy. If you're so understaffed, why do you keep taking in more and more "clients"? Well, its because they are for-profit and its all about the money. The only way I achieved recovery after attending this "program" was the fear of ever having to go there again.

I absolutely loved the detox facility they made coming off of heroine painless and they don't make it so you are addicted to a different substance in the end. They give you low doses of suboxin and within I would day 3 to 7 days they wean you off of the suboxin as well. Plus you are giving muscle relaxers, anxiety med, sleep aid and whatever else you need while at detox center and when you transfer to treatment you are able to stay on most those meds if need be except suboxin unless you were already medically prescribed it before going to detox/and or treatment, then of course you are able to stay on your prescribed suboxin or whatever medication you are on while in treatment. Anyway, the only med I asked to be taking off of was the sleep aid because it was making me to Loopy and unable to function. Which is normally a good thing when detoxifying but for me after a few days I wanted to be able to get up, function and enjoy being me again. Also while in detox they constantly check your vitals and they test your blood once to check for any infections. My favorite part of the detox facility was that they made sure you were fed good. You were giving three meals a day and in between meals you were giving 2 to 3 snacks. The snacks were good name brand snacks too, and since they had me on a good variety of meds I was actually able to have an appetite and hydrate while detoxifying. Also between meals you were able to ask for stuff like cocoa, gatorade, electrolyte popsicles, and other things as well. Another thing is you were able to go out and smoke a cig every 2 to 3 hours I believe it was. You also had access to take a hot shower and the shower floors are heated, I personally didn't take my flip-flop slippers off because I'm a germaphobe( btw the shower room was extremely clean, I'm just weird). There are also if I remember right 4 to 6 shower stalls in shower room but most like you will be the only individual in there cause most everyone else are sleeping and maybe a couple people will be in the dining room/ t.v room. Anyway to sum it up I loved the detox facility and will explain in another post why I didn't care too much for the treatment center.

My name is Hector I did 60 days it was great. Ms. Bryant is the best counselor ever. It’s not Malibu treatment center but it’s great. If you want to be sober go here.

I attended this place. Just the detox. But I have to say that being able to walk into a detox facility and immediately get detoxification and have options for treatment to follow up if you needed is pretty awesome. Also. They feed you rather well although meal times are to early for my liking. Plus they have snacks handed out in between meal times that are substantial. It’s a really good place to gain that weight back that was lost when getting high. The only downfall I see is that you have to wear scrubs in the detox. I honestly believe they should allow pajamas for the detox patients. Make them feel more comfortable. Anyways. Good job Cozza A.B.H.S!

Yes. This is a medical detox
In treatment yes, in detox yes but only if it's below 30mg/day.
3 months I think. Its a great place. I graduated from there and I've been sober for olmost 6 yrs.
Hi Cindy, yes we do
It is a not for profit and contracted with the state.
If you know a client on the Impatient side, they will have to put you on visitation list. If they are on the Detox side, there isn't any visitations.

Yeah they have scheduled smoke breaks out back. Everyone all at once
Yes but not very often
The client you wish to visit will have to fill out a visitor application and get approval from their counselor before you will be able to visit them. If it's approved then the client can contact you with the details. Hope that helps.
Not an assessment but possibly detox. But they are full most of the time
As for as I know I do believe that you can. Between 8am and 4:30pm
