My son completed detox at the facility in Spokane. It is the best detox I believe in Eastern Washington. You have access to counselors, you don't just sleep. You are able to "recover" emotionally and physically. There was a big difference between this facility and others. Unfortunately they only accept private insurance. I am grateful I was able to send my son to this facility when needed. His friend, from our recommendation, also went and was moved to IIP out of state after completing detox and has been doing very well.

I am filled with gratitude for the new “Royal” life I have that started the day I checked into inpatient at Royal Life Center of Spokane! I was set on a path of recovery through the love, dignity and respect I received from the staff and the environment they have developed. Royal Life centers completely changed my life. I had lost all hope that a life in sobriety could be possible for a person who had struggled for so long to no avail. Royal gave me the chance to stay sober and figure out who I was and who I could be. The staff that was there were the most amazing and supportive group I have ever encountered and they believed in me when I could not believe in myself. Elizabeth, The rooms at our Spokane Heights facility are private, each room is a single room. During our detox and inpatient level of care, you will not have access to your cellphone. In these levels of care, you can arrange with a therapist to make calls to your loved ones during individual therapy sessions. If you choose to continue on to our 9-week program, you will be allowed to have your cellphone!
Hello Randi! Unfortunately, no- at no point during treatment are kids allowed to stay with guests. However, after a period, you will be allowed visits with your family and children.
