24 hours after his 9 day stay at Premier Boarding Kennel, our beloved cat is dead, and I have to wonder... When I dropped our cat off, I was a little surprised by the loud cacophony of dogs barking, but I shrugged it off because we were about to leave out of town. Where else could we board short notice. I was asked who our vet was and agreed they could take it to the nearby vet if needed. I thought it wouldn't be needed right? Our cat had rarely shown signs of illness. We never received any calls about our cat's health. When we picked our cat up, we were told he didn't care for the food we left (the food he has eaten for most of his for almost 8 years). My husband thought something was very wrong watching him throughout the night and following day. As soon as he set out water, he started drinking very heavily like he had rarely seen. He also said he unusually stank terribly when we picked him up. He said he is breathing with heavy labor all of the way into his hind legs. He asked me to get him into a vet before the long weekend. I guess everyone else was thinking the same thing because I had to call many vets to find an opening. We were surprised when we were told he had days to live and had fluid surrounding his lungs and heart which was causing the difficulty breathing. He had congestive heart failure. We had to make the hard decision to let him go. 😭 Although perhaps this may have genetic roots and may have been coincidental, we still have to wonder, what exactly happened that 9 days, or maybe what didn't happen. What we do know is no one noticed he was sick. He was very thirsty. He unusually stank when returned. This much we know.

Love this place they're always so loving and caring to my moms dogs. Plus they're always extremely friendly and attentive to any special feeding or care request definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a great safe place for their fur babies whenever they need !

I have used their facility for boarding several times over the last year or so and have never been disappointed. I board working K9s with them and they are equipped to handle high drives. I have always valued their care and effort put forth to ensuring a safe stay. I can communicate through text messaging to check in and always get a quick response about how things are going. Would recommend their facility to any owner thinking about boarding a K9.

The very best! We left our pot belly pig with them for a week and she got first class treatment! Very reasonable on boarding fee. I highly recommend them Gor your boarding needs. I can't think of anything they could have done better. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Please give us a call and leave us your name and number. We will have someone call you back. 740-360-3033. They may have some questions for you before they can answer your question. Depending on how much your pup weighs it will probably run between $20 and $35. That also includes a free day of daycare, in case you need to get to work or run errands. If you are doing the daycare, you can drop off between 7:30 am and 9:00 am and pick up between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. We can only do the daycare Monday through Thursday since the weekends are really busy. Thanks.
