Every single one of my questions were answered with "Google it". Not very helpful at all.

Went here to ask about home records. The lady at the clerks office was nice and showed us how to search them on the computer, which is also available online. Sadly, we didn't find out the home address of my grandparents who lived here in the 40's.

Prior to making changes to the names on your home deed for any reason, you should consult an attorney or a title company for advisement. They can help you understand the implications and obstacles to making changes Our office cannot do any of the following: • Give legal advice • Help fill out documents • Give suggestions on types of documents to use We are not qualified to offer legal advice. Should you have a question that is requiring legal advice, please seek legal counsel. However if you need additional information about deed recording procedures, you may contact our Recording Section at 440-4325.

You'll need to pose this question to the Douglas County Circuit Court (541) 957-2471. Not all County Clerks are created equal. In this state, Circuit Courts are a separate state-owned agency, with their own clerks. The Douglas County Clerk is the record keeper for real property records and does not preside over the circuit court or their records.

Currently it is $25. Vital Records fees are set by statute and are subject to change during any Legislative Session.

Where can I find out about home associations rules, laws, what are they responsible for and legal responsibility to property owners.

Here at the Office of County Clerk we record those covenants and you are able to look those up, get copies for a small fee, and read about the rules and responsibilities. You can also speak directly to the boards of those organizations. This office cannot give legal advice. If you have questions about property rights you may need to contact an attorney.

I registered to vote in the Clerk's Office 2 years ago, will I still be eligible to vote today?

Mark Johnson | Aug 22, 2019
Douglas County Clerk | Aug 21, 2021

Voter registration is dependent on voter input. It is always recommended that voters periodically check and update their registration. I looked up your name and we show all those with that name are current active voters in this county.
