I hadn't visited since I was much younger. Decided to bring my children to escape the hot day and still be able to get out of the house. What wonderful updates/changes compared to what I remember. My oldest is begging to go back again. There are wonderful interactive areas for the kids to play/learn. Definitely a hidden gem ❤️

We really like it, so much to see an the weather got to hot, but we plan on visiting there next year in May. We bought a lot of stuff in the shop.

A very cool local museum that gives a good history of the area and ancient animals that inhabited the region. Founded in 1969, added on in 1979 and 1989. Good place for kids to see and learn history as well.

$8 for adults. Looked like a few of their exhibits where taken down but what was left was beautiful. You can tell they really take care in preserving things. There are a fair amount of stairs in case you struggle with those. Exhibits in and outside.
