The whole process of renting a unit, accessing the unit was very smooth. The facility seemed very clean and secure. Rates are higher than other companies in the area but overall we are happy with the service. Excellent customer service from the gentleman who took our call, to the follow up by the office staff.

I had the best experience at Extra Space storage! My friends and I go to Gonzaga and wanted to store our things while we were away for the summer. We researched a few other places, which resulted in some nervousness about prices and reliability. We stopped by Extra Space storage feeling pretty disheartened about our results. Right away, we knew we wanted to rent here. The facility is incredibly nice and clean, and we liked that it was off the road, so we didn’t have people watching as we stored our things. Heidi made us feel comfortable the second we walked through the door, and ensured that all our needs and wants were met. She showed us the unit we wanted, and even offered to give us a call if she was almost out by the time we wanted to rent. They also have incredible prices!! Knowing nothing about storage going into this process, we were nervous about being manipulated, but Heidi made it seem like we were talking to a friend. She explained everything, and made us feel so comfortable with the process! We will definitely be coming back every summer! Thank you Heidi!!

Initially, I thought this place was great. Then, they slowly started raising my rent. My rent for a 5x8 unit almost doubled in a year (from $42/mo to $73/mo). This last month it went from $55 to $73. When I called asking why it is going up, they said I’m lucky because some people had their rent go up by $80 this last month. I was planning on keeping this unit for another year or two, but I am now moving out because they can’t stop raising the rent. Just beware, they will get you in at a good price and immediately start raising it. It is clean and safe though, so I guess if that’s all you want and you don’t care how much you pay for it, then it’s the place for you.
