When Neptune Society took care of my sister's cremation and Memorial service their kindness, work ethic, and the staff that works for them in Spokane, were amazing. Our family was cared for very well from the logistics all the way through the grieving process. Both of my parents passed within just over a year of each other and the fact that they had made the decision ahead of time to use Neptune society saved us a lot of mental and emotional energy that we were then able to use to comfort each other and to deal with other aspects of their passing. The employees here are more than just people who work for a company, they are "afterlife caretakers," in regards to caring for the remains of my parents, as well as the welfare of me and my brother My family has been very blessed to have such wonderful caretakers of my recently deceased parents. I lost my father in January of 2021, then my mother in October of 2021. Not only did they handle the cremation of both of them, but also helped me with the memorial cards for their service. In addition they also referred me to grieving services that were available to me. Lucas, one of the staff in charge of my account, is more close to my age, and understood my sense of dark and unusual sense of humor of the whole situation. It was refreshing and comforting to say the least. The whole environment of this company has left a sweet spot with me in a place where it seemed darkest. I am forever grateful and appreciate them. It's been a year since my father's passing and I still receive calls just to check up on me and make sure I'm ok. I definitely recommend them, for cremation services as well as future planning services, to help make it easier for your families when it's your time to go. No one gets out of life alive, so there's no better time to plan than right now. 5/5 stars for this place.

A funeral director does not need to handle the ashes. Usually they are provided to the loved ones for a scattering, burial, keeping at home or a number of other options.
A death certificate and cremation permit must be signed prior to cremation. Any delays may be out of our control, but Neptune Society walks you through every step, helping and guiding you through the process

If you purchase a Pre-Arrangement Plan with us, there will be no additional fees or charges when the service is activated as long as your contract is paid in full. Yes, you can still donate organs prior to cremation. We coordinate with all Tissue Banks. However, most organ donations take place at the medical facility where the death occurs, and the hospital arranges for the donation before turning over the deceased to us for cremation
