Bumblebee is one of the sweet spots for me. Close to services yet still in the wilderness. The camp spots along the river/streams are first come first serve and they're always in great shape! Serene and lots of hiking in the mountains. A bit cold right now and there are still some downed trees on some of the roads but they get cleared very quickly.

Was closed. Looked really trashed and flooded. Seems a huge storm came through. The whole area in need of clearing watch the road as surprise potholes sneak up on you.

We were just there this week the actual campground is currently closed there are a lot of fallen trees in it. You can camp there you just have to park and walk your stuff from the gate. It should be opening the sign says hopefully in the middle of May but it is getting pretty close and there is still a lot of fallen trees in the camp ground. There are quite a few trees around the campsites some of them are more open than others there are options to get double sites the bathrooms are currently locked but usually they have full toilets open when the campground is and it's right around the corner from a fun River spot.

Beautiful place, so much to do. Off road trails, river, fishing, swimming floating, biking. Definitely worth a trip!

Was closed last year for wind fallen tree removal .
Yes
We were up there last weekend, you'll be fine. Not sure if you can get over Fernan Saddle or not right now, but if you come in from Kingston side it's all good.
You can but they will not be open at all this year due to all the tree's that fell and other tree's that need to come out. We had the group site reserved but they called us about 2 weeks ago and said they were not going to open.
You pay cash at drop box or with host, like most state campgrounds. I believe it was $21/night for standard site.
$29.00 to book online on recreation.gov.
I also havent seen one the past 4 years I've been.
No walk-up is first come first serve.
It was closed a couple weeks ago. So i would guess no it's not open this time of year. There are camp sites all over the place along the road. We were able to get a nice site along the creek not far from the access road to bumble bee
