I was here 2 days ago. I barely called them. They said that you can come without an appointment. And so it was. I just came and had the opportunity to solve my problems. Nowhere is there an indication of which floor the social security is on. I found them on the 5th floor. I hope my feedback will help you. You can already come without prior appointment.

They won’t let you in without an appointment and won’t let you schedule an appointment in person. The security tells you to call the phone number but no one ever picks up. Just call the San Leandro SSA office instead they usually pick up the phone.

First get a number from the kiosk,Then wait for your number is called and tell them what's your purpose for this visit,Then wait for your name is called and go directly to your he windows. Set up your PHONE appointment. You are done. You also can go on line if you are tech savvy. Good luck. Best time to go is 3:00pm. Closed(door lock) at 4:00pm. Very nice employee.

The office is open 9-4 Monday through Friday..You can get there early and get in line. At 9 a staff comes out to hand out numbers. For the first 7 people in line. After that you go inside to register. You must wear a mask. It was guick.

Yes if you don't have an appointment it's best to go 45 minutes early before the doors open. People line up in the hall outside on the 5th floor.... it's a number system.. when you go in, you get a number and wait! No appointments can be waiting 2 to 3 hours. That's why getting in line first in the morning cuz your wait time down considerably.
