Anthony and the rest of this posh-yet-unpretentious dispensary's team were incredibly warm and welcoming. All smiling eyes, soft humor and overall good vibes, Anthony made this visit so easy! Read review fully! Their weed is great! So if that's all you're looking for, then I reccommend them highly. HOWEVER! I spent 40 frikken bones on a grinder that was touted as premiere and best quality; only for the wood to crack a few weeks after purchase. Unfortunately this has led to the grinder no longer being usable. Based on the multiple cracks and the warped shape of the wood, it looks like it's caused by wood that was worked with before fully drying. Meaning this is simply an issue with craftsmanship, rather than poor design (so maybe I just got unlucky? Maybe they're all built poorly?). All of this being said, unfortunately I can't reccommend their accessories

I like that they spend time with their customers to make sure they are informed especially for new customers. Plus I can imagine the lines will be longer for the first couple weeks of recreational legalization.

Yes and no - we leave that up to our guests. At your first visit, our guests have a choice to become a member or to remain a nonmember. Membership has its privileges! Members can earn points towards discounts, make credit or debit card purchases and, when needed, return defective products. Members have a secure, confidential profile that includes basic contact information. Alternatively, folks who are concerned about privacy can stay as nonmembers. Nonmembers simply need to provide us their birth date and first name. That’s so we can meet the state requirement of tracking each sale. But it isn’t enough information for anyone to be truly identified. Nonmembers do not earn points, may only pay with cash and may not return products. Everyone gets the same great service and products.
Al, as long as you are 21 years of age with a government issued ID card, DL or Passport you can make a purchase. We welcome out of star customers so please come say hello when you are in town!

Unfortunately, consumption on site is an amenity that the Apothecarium Castro is not currently licensed to provide.
At The Apothecarium Castro we follow many safety practices in regards to COVID-19: we require everyone to wear a mask, we also disinfect and clean high touch areas, as well as our furniture and seating options which are all spaced 6 feet apart many times throughout the day. Hand sanitizer is provided at every station, as well at your entrance/exit to the location.
