The receptionist of this regional center was extremely rude, condescending, and did not try to be helpful in the least. That is just bad customer service. I have not been able to get a hold of my son’s case worker for a while and it is very frustrating.

They seem to have spent all of their funding on their fancy office building. We went in for an evaluation and orientation for services for my son who is on the spectrum and have never heard back. We’ve called and emailed our case manager, his supervisor, and his boss for over a year and have not heard back (pre COVID). My 4 year son has been without services for that long and COVID-19 doesn’t help. I wouldn’t even say they should be ashamed of themselves because there really seems to be no shame in what they are doing. We used to be with GGRC San Mateo. Even though they deal with a lot of turn over there, they get things done and are responsive. If you are having a similar experience please file a complaint with the state. The San Francisco GGRC seems to be pocketing the funds that they are receiving from the state or donors.

You should call the GGRC directly and they should be able to direct you to whoever you need to speak with
