MUNI trains, subways, buses, & cable cars: It's better than not having the option. It can be convenient. Nice new contactless & mobile app. 📱 payment methods. 90 minute paper transfer 🎟 tickets & all day 🎟 tickets on the app. It's an inexpensive alternative to now costly ride sharing companies. Taking MUNI means not paying for parking or driving around looking for parking. It also invites you to explore other areas of the city, which is excellent. It also helps with getting exercise by walking 🚶♂️ to & from MUNI stops & exploring San Francisco. It's great for when you should not 🚗 drive due to drinking 🍸🍷 🥂 🍾🍹🥃🍺 🍻 🥴.

I've owned my car for only two months, I bought it for work. During that period I've received over $1200 in tickets for parking outside the building I live in here in the TL. We have no garage and the public lots in the neighborhood close before I get off of work. I work at least 10 hours a day plus the hour or more it can take to find parking. As a resident I shouldn't have to get up to move my car every 2 hours when I get home from work. I finally gave up and sold my car, March 2020. During the Covid pandemic the SFMTA decided, the geniuses they are, to close all of the parking lots and garages making the parking problem even worse. I was already paying $500/mo to park, that turned into $1K/mo with no income.

I understand the city needs to have some parking 🚗 rules and some way to enforce them, otherwise it could be chaos, but when you notice your parking citation is issued only a few minutes after the time begins, then you start to think that these are vexatious agents working for the city who actually delight in issuing parking tickets - like they're waiting for that moment to begin that they can start writing a ticket almost as if they're waiting at the end of the street drooling for the clock to start ticking so they can start writing tickets. That's what makes you angry 😡- when they are lying-in-wait like a hunter waiting for the animal 🐅 to slay. I got a parking ticket at 6:13 a.m. for a zone that starts at 6 a.m. and I had already had moved at 6:20 a.m.. It's like they intentionally chose my vehicle to start with. Sickening - that's the only thing i need a mask for in SF. 👎 And this is at a time when we are just barely emerging from the covid lockdown and all the financial hardships that it has created and now they add an $83 parking citation to it. Thanks a lot. NOT. 😠

5 stars for transit drivers I saw diligently wiping down touch surfaces on the buses. They were thourough and deliberate about their work. Saw a lot of non paying riders. I wonder why this is allowed? Many cities have police on board to ticket offenders. Kind of made me sick to see.

You can just use the license plate to search for any non-paid tickets on SFMTA's website.
Revenues aren not to be assumed on a guess and or based upon last way of calculating. If you ask me revenues f2last couple of years it's not total of 555 million for the coming up years it may be about 600 thousand a year cause of situation presently stands. And maintenance should be less on such not needed transportation temporarily and should be.controlled by driver check such as samples that drivers should not pass 15 miles an hour on a speeding 25 . And to check police can also ticket muni drivers that's how I would run muni if maintenance balance and budget equals control and fairly running without issues on a start up bases anyone likes a type of supervisor I'll get your position
