I really like this place. However...whomever prices everything is out of their mind. A tiny side table, $60. An antique hair drying chair, $60. A mostly dead rose in a plastic pot $60. An incomplete set of way weathered outdoor chairs $150. Until they drop their prices to at least below buying things brand new. I would go elsewhere and save yourself time and money. The photos are the $60 side table.

Lots of stuff - from architectural salvage to thrift store type items. Records, cassettes, VHS, stereos, windows, doors, knobs, locks, furniture, clothes, tools, hardware, lighting, art, rugs, etc etc etc. It’s a bit of a mess, but if you’re up for the hunt, recommend. Ample free parking in lot and street.

You can find everything here. Great quality, some items still new. Reasonable prices!

If you like old things, and goiing through old stuff, this may be the place for you! It is kinda like a scavenger hunt—you may or may not find what you are looking for. It might be a good idea to take a list of what you are looking for—unless you don't mind getting lost for hours. I went in looking for wide-mouth quart canning jars. I found 2 wide mouth and 4 regualar quart canning jars for a dollar each—they can be difficult to find these days. In the back of my mind, I was looking for a way of dealing with mail and paperwork. I found something made out of metal with three levels for holding business papers for $8. Another thought I had was to see if I could find some LP vinyl records for my teenage grand daughter. Well, they had a large number of records, but I easily gave up on that idea because there was no order. However, the price was right—only $1 each. So, for someone who has a lot of time and patience, that could be a goldmine. It makes me happy that there are still places that one can take stuff and keep it out of the landfill.

New things come in Daily you just have to check but you can also call ahead to see before you go
Their inventory varies constantly, but that is the sort of thing they typically have on a regular basis.
Yes. A table is likely to be accepted unless it is made of particle board.
They don't pick up, unless maybe the donated item has a high value. (Questions like this are sent to users who've visited, not owners.)
Is that a question? There's hundreds (possibly thousands) of windows and doors at urban ore. Get your measurements completely sorted out and go on down there. Be prepared for more than one trip. Budget a little extra if you get sidetracked in the LPs...
This place has various things all the time. You would have to go there to see if they have what you're looking for.
Yes they allow dogs
They don't buy.
Lol unknown.
Inventory changes all the time. You may want to call Urban Ore first or Habitat for Humanity in Oakland just to confirm.
Mon-Sat 8:30am-5:00pm Sun 10:00am-5:00pm
Yes, we accept and sell laptops, however our inventory is constantly changing and we may not have a laptop available for sale at any given moment. Thanks for the question.
Yes, if it works, that is something we will probably accept. Thank you.
Depends on what they have in stock but I usually see TVs and computer monitors. They'll also have test outlets if you need to plug something in and try it out.
You can buy these sliding doors @ Urban ore - I doubt they buy old stuff.
I don't know but i do know that they do sell windows of all kinds and may be intrested. Just call and see thst is as much as i can say for now.👍🇺🇸
They should love them if not Goodwill around the corner would
Nope
From their website: We are open 7 days a week including all holidays except Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July and Thanksgiving.
Kitchen cabinets are accepted by urban ore, so long as they are in usable condition. The receiving department can let you know if what you have can be accepted! Call and ask to be transferred to that extension!
I've yet to have them reject anything that wasn't obviously trash.
No, styrofoam needs to go in the garbage can. That's why the air bubbles are now used.
Urban Ore is a salvage reseller. What they have will vary. Most things will not be new. I suggest calling to see what they have in stock currently.
You should call them. These questions go to reviewers.
Buying ?
Your best bet is to call, you never know what they have.
Conversely, I saw a GORGEOUS light fixture priced at $225. Turns out it was Restoration Hardware, originally priced over $2,500. It might even still be there...
They only sell what they get on donations, I don't think they keep track of everything...but your best bet is to go to home depot nearby because they prices at urban ore are so outrageously high that the difference won't be much
How 🔥 is this "Red" 🌴? Is it "hecka" Red for a "big load" 💦💯?
They only buy large appliances and furniture, but you can donate them.
I would call them to find out
You'll just have to visit the store. Their inventory changes daily.
i dont think they buy anything, perhaps in large bulk like a whole house
Yes but they charge a drop off of $5 per toilet
