No reason to use this ramp unless you have a none motorized boat or you're EMS. The water is shallow and hard to read for any motorized boat. Don't leave anything in any vehicle that you want to park for a long period of time or it will be gone.

Casual rafting is allowed without a permit. Even a novice can paddle quite nicely from Alton baker park on north. Harrisburg boat ramp is a great shuttle spot if you wanna do 15 or so miles. It is relatively flat water all the way to Oregon city, many miles upriver. For more info: http://willamette-riverkeeper.org/willamette-water-trail
There is limited limited parking basically right in front of the ramp. I like to park in the first parking lot to the left, as you come in to the park, then walk 😊 more guaranteed a spot that way.
