Pretty walk down the beach, not very many people. Cool to really really think about this stump and it’s history. Imagine a coast covered in redwoods?

This place will always hold an extremely special place in my heart. Growing up, my mother's side of the family always had our family reunions at Cape Cod Cottages. Every reunion we would gather around the big stump for our family gatherings. After my mother passed away in 2012, we spread her ashes around the stump and along this beach so that it will always be our place to reunite.

This beach is almost empty, the sand is soft a great place to spend the day by the beach chillaxing

It was surprising to learn the history of such a beautiful place. The beach was quiet and peaceful and the sunsets were incredible.

The stump is found a few hundred yards between it's access points. So it requires a bit of walking. After a storm items get washed up or uncovered.
