South Station (Train Terminal)

A public transportation hub with trains, busses, airport Silver Line SL1 in South of Boston and several shops. Visitors to Boston can save money by hopping on Silver Line SL1 from airport, it is free for inbound passengers. There is a fee for outbound passengers from South Station to Logan Airport. This station reminds me Japan Stations :-)

Meki Banda BCoMS (BCoMS)

Second largest station in Boston. Commuter rail, Amtrak, Redline and Silver Line all start and end here. Lots of places to eat here. The building is climate controlled too.

June end 2021 - People are still paranoid about COVID. Many of the restaurants in.the station are closed, but you can find Chinese, McDonald's and a sandwich place that has samosas. Hardly any sitting area. The normal entrances to the platforms are blocked/ closed. Train schedule is limited. mTicket app is a good app to use here. Reasonably clean and easy access to outside & the Silver Line bus to the airport *limited schedule (downstairs- look for signs) (need to buy a ticket to the airport direction only). Don't be in a hurry or run a tight schedule. UBER / Lift services are limited and expensive at times.

South Station in Boston is a neat station. Don’t go in here with Uber high expectations, it is a public transit station after all, but it does serve it’s purpose. Reliable and cheap considering the lack of Ride Share availability in Boston.
