The first time there it was ok . The eggs and cheese were pretty good the bacon was not done . People don't understand that pork has to be well cooked or u make get sick from it

Their breakfast is really good. They have many diverse options for breakfast. However their service is really slow, can NEVER carry-out breakfast without waiting for more than 30 minutes. Dinner and lunch service is better. Most of the food is prepared and available. Selections vary daily.

Now a plethora of us have been going to this spot for YEARS!! Another staple in the DC area @keith_and_sons_soul_food has been my go to eatery whenever I wanted a delectable, sustainable meal. Now I must admit that I’ve usually only got their diversely optioned breakfast in the past. I just recently checked out their dinner menu. This family own business has two locations. The (more familiar to me) location at 5948 MLK Jr. Hwy, Seat Pleasant Maryland, and their 7814 Central Ave, Landover Maryland location. Both establishments serve up a product that upholds the indistinguishable integrity of their brand. Ok...their food...let’s start with their breakfast!! First off they give you ENOUGH food!! You’re plate will be thick with eggs, bacon, waffles or whatever else you decide to get. They have all the morning foods...pork bacon, thick sliced turkey bacon, sausage, ham, French toast, hash, fried chicken, pork chops, grits, fish...you know...BREAKFAST!! I recommend their thick cut Turkey bacon and egg sandwich, with cheese on wheat ($7.99 and worth every penny). You can break this sandwich down and share it if you like...you get THAT much of it...trust!! I have to emphasize that the bacon is not that cardboard, thin cut, turkey bacon. They cook a hearty, fulfilling bacon. Their dinners chicken wings, chitterlings, ribs, meatloaf, salmon, and Ox tail. Their sides include string beans, rice, yams, potato salad and French fries. On this day I chose to go to their latter location, and tried their Jerk wings , Mac n cheese, and greens platter (pictured $12.99). Their jerk had a spicy first bite, and a sweet aftertaste. The Mac n cheese was creamy and smooth...definitely homemade. You could taste the oscillating sweet and salty aspect in the greens, and you finished them!! Per their breakfast...they give you ENOUGH!! If you’ve never been...you must go!! Get up, (you don’t feel like cooking anyway) and slide down to @keith_and_sons_soul_food to get you a affordable, hearty, delicious meal. This Keith and Sons location has been a favorite but today was different. The macaroni and cheese looked good but was smelling and tasted horrible and the fish was so salty I could not eat it. Please smell your food before you leave. I will never go back there again.
