This is not your traditional Mexican food made by people who came from Mexico. It's Mexican food like my mom makes it whose family came from Minnesota. I've been going here since high school and sometimes it's exactly what I'm in the mood for. It's a little shop that makes it look like fast food, and yes you can order through the drive-thru, but it's a step above fast food. My favorites are the enchilada plate and the super nachos. :)

Ordered a soft taco/hard taco box to go with sour cream added. I would rather spend money at Del Taco, at least than I know my food is actually fresh. Nothing like lettuce that got too hot to ruin a hard taco.

Del Taco by this Taco Shop wouldn't give me sauce with my order. I'd order 10 items and they'd give me 6 sauce packets. I'd ask for more and they'd refuse. Plus they shrunk all their sizes while charging more. Decided to go to Taco Shop. Love the quality of the food and they give me sauce for all of it. Hope Del Taco goes out of business soon...they earned it...and Taco Shop earned my repeat business.

We are currently drive-thru and take online orders with curbside pickup. Our sit down seating has been closed since March. All employees are adhering to Covid safety protocols with masks and gloves. Employees with any possible symptoms must be tested before being able to return to work. All employees that have had symptoms were all tested negative.
