The lady who helped me was very helpful in telling me what I needed to do in order to get my license reinstated. However both of the women working on August 19th 2021 were both hella unwelcoming and rude to me.

I was concerned when I first arrived there were two lines one was for walk ins and one was for appointments. I was thrilled when the three ladies who worked there made an effort to keep the lines moving. The nice lady who helped me was very very knowledgeable, helpful and provided the service I needed in a timely matter. She even shared her condolences for the loss of my father. She was super! Thank you all for making my experience awesome. Was there 30 minutes total!

My wife went in to take her motorcycle endorsement test today. She was so happy she passed and was amazed at how friendly and polite the dmv personal was. My wife said she would drive over the mountains again to visit this dmv in Madras to take care of any future needs. Thank you for being on time with appointment and friendly service.

Schedule an appointment with DMV due to covid hrs are limited
You can go online to DMV2U and replace it and they will mail it to you
You have to go to their website and make an appointment.
First you have to take a "written" exam. (It's actually done in a computer), then you schedule a behind the wheel test. You need to call the DMV number to schedule appointments right now. You can get the drivers manual online, just Google "Oregon drivers manual". I'm not sure if they are scheduling appointments in Madras, bit they are in Prineville and Bend for sure. You can get all the info you need here: https://dmv2u.oregon.gov
It seems to vary on which type of plate you have or get...? Hers a link to the fees https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/Pages/Fees/Vehicle.aspx for title, and on that page there's a link to plates. Looks like around $200 for regular plates....?
head to the dmv , pull a ticket and ask...if you have a lazy eye they'll just give it to you..limp in, that helpst
