Great atmosphere and service. Drinks were really good and strong. Service was fast and servers were attentive. We both had ribeyes, medium rare, they were delicious and cooked to perfection! Salad was delicious, but dressing could be a bit much for some people. We arrived just after 4pm on a Saturday, even with the rodeo in town, we were sat immediately and service was prompt. Small place and pretty dark when you first enter so plan accordingly. Parking was super easy, we found a spot in front. We will definitely make this place part of our regular rotation.

Historic facility with excellent drinks and exceptional steaks! Bartender "Houston " is a master and the sear on the Rib Eye was a fantastic addition. With drinks you can get close to 60$ per person. Restrooms are the only low point here, but only due to size- they were very clean- they are just small. Plan on an hour + wait on a busy night but they have an outside seating area to enjoy some drinks while waiting for a table. 9.8 / 10

Although the meat is really good and I love this place, the servers are happy and friendly the prices are so high I can’t agree with the 5 star anymore. One soda and a 16oz NY $56 ouch. But maybe it’s Biden’s economy and I should be giving him negative stars for creating this problem.

Don't believe the hype. For $50 a steak, there should be more than paper napkins. Let's get some fresh pepper, and by the way: the bartender and hostess are much more into each other than helping guests. After waiting for my $50 steak for 30 minutes, I left as the hostess heckled me. I love old school steakhouses, Shaws in Santa Maria, Burns in Tampa, etc. Was hoping that, based on the reviews, this would be on that caliber. Unfortunately, the 45 minute experience leading up to not actually getting my food kept me from actually enjoying what the restaurant says is a great steak.

I would say no, hire a babysitter and enjoy the evening with your S.O.
No. They closed for the next 2-3 weeks due to COVID19 restrictions. I happened to be there the last night before their closure. An employee told us they were going to be closed.
Ponderosa inn.. Where Market st. & Pine st. Meet .. But is a lower class of hotel you would be better looking on hilltop Dr. Just off I5. And that would put you about 1 mile East of Jacks
I've been there about five times without a reservation and was seated immediately. Food is excellent!
