I did not know where to start when it came to Medicare, so I took a free class at Nokomis High in Newport Maine. This very knowledgeable young lady went through the medicare book and said if we had any more questions to contact her at EAAA in Bangor, her name is Melissa and I cannot Thank her enough for helping me get. set up for the right Medicare Programs. I later had a rather large bill from Medicare and freaked out, fortunately I called EAAA and Melissa Smith wasn't available, but this other young lady called me back and addressed the questions I had. Again, I had a question for Melissa, so I wrote her an email about my concerns, she not only called but she also answered my email immediately....I know I could not have made it through with out out Melissa and The Eastern Area on Aging ....Thank you for always being there. Sincerely, Barb Walshe Corinna, Maine

They are located in the Airport Mall now, and most of the people there are ignorant, selfish, and rude. They blare their music throughout the mall and block off hallways for their own pleasure. They should be banned from a mall setting if they cannot stay within their store and customers keep complaining they can't even walk through the hallway because they are BLOCKING IT OFF! This isn't right and the mall owners will be hearing from me.

Hi Shirley, We will not be formally collecting coats at any of our locations this year. Any donations can be taken to Goodwill and donated. If we receive vouchers, seniors that ask for a voucher can visit Goodwill to pick out their own coat. Thanks for thinking of us!
Hi Stephen - AARP offers tax appointments in EAAA's building, however, the appointments are currently full. AARP offers appointments at other locations as well, if you call 2-1-1, they should be able to tell you where all of the locations are. Thank you
They have the resources to help with a move like that.
I don't, but call EAAA and check with them. Also try Starvation Army and Goodwill...
