I have been a customer here for years! Reasonable, knowledgeable and efficient! I was aghast at the negative reviews! I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else ! I even shop for my mom who lives in New Hampshire at All Brand Vacuum Brewer Maine!

With the departure of Sears from the Bangor area, we took our Kenmore vacuum here to replace the carpet beater bar. The man at the counter informed me that they repair all brands of vacuums at their Portland store. Our vacuum would go down on a truck over the weekend, and return the following weekend, to be available on Tuesday when they opened. We waited the week and called the following Tuesday - no vacuum. The Portland store called and said they could repair it with a used part from an old Kenmore. We agreed, although disappointed they didn't call the previous week when we were assured the vacuum would be repaired. A week later, we called the Brewer store to retrieve our vacuum, no vacuum. We called the Portland store to learn that they never found the part from the other Kenmore and stated they couldn't repair it. "Why didn't you call to inform me that what we had agreed upon would no longer be effective? Why didn't you at least ship it back to Brewer?" Their answer, "I guess this fell through the cracks." A week later, our vacuum was shipped back to Brewer, but we had to call to confirm it had arrived, 29 days after we dropped our vacuum off. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and attention to detail. We now need to buy a new vacuum, but will be looking elsewhere.

Friendly guy that helped me. And surprisingly he actually seemed knowledgeable about his stuff. It's hard to find that in retail.

Worst Service in the world. If I could give this place a negative score I would. I came by the store to ask about the central vaccum system and how to fix the hose's power system. The lady at the shop called some guy on the phone and handed me the phone(first of all the lady there was not helpful at all). The guy tried to explain to me about the options on how to fix which would either be rewiring the power for the hose and the power nozzle or to place an adapter. Anyway they said someone would be at my house at 11am the next day to look at the unit. They even gave me a quote of $180 to fix which I agreed. Next Day 11:40am nobody showed up so I called them again and the guy on the phone acted like he never spoke to me which I was very sure it was him yesterday that the lady at the shop called. The guy said it would have to be after hours before anyone can come and he said it would cost me $100 up front + $100/hour to fix the unit. WTF kind of service is this ?. This is fraud and a scam.
