Amazing customer service! I just moved here from Portland (and I'm a foreigner) so the White Salmon postal service was a bit confusing to me. The staff here spent so much time explaining it to me, the rescued packages that were addressed incorrectly (my fault) and went above and beyond to make sure I was fully set up in the new system. I also watched the manger and staff recognize so many locals by name and have mail ready for them. It's a small town office with only a few staff that the amount of packages getting sent during COVID is just insanely high so they are doing amazing work considering all of that.

These guys are busy. A little patience goes a long way, there are good folks workin here! Keep in mind the USPS has been continuously underfunded, and is such a valuable public resource! Thank you for your hard work!

I don’t think I have ever been treated so poorly at a place of “business”. The lady at the counter was rude, condescending and not helpful at all. It’s time for her to retire or find a new job where she doesn’t deal with the public. BTW, this is the very first time I have ever posted a review on any sort of platform like this. My experience was awful.

The fact that you have to use this post office to get mail and residents outside of town have their mail delivered is the biggest crock of %#}. Additionally the employees are incompetent and rude. An example is I had a package delivered with confirmation and because they couldn’t find it they said it wasn’t delivered and got persnickety when I pressed them. They found the package after searching and then acted like nothing was wrong. This is one of many examples like this - and the best part is that you pay $80/yr for the privilege of the service. Thanks USPS.

If you head up there on Sat between 8am - 10am and knock on the wooden door in the lobby your friendly neighborhood postal employee will usually open the door and give you your package.
I don't believe this post off does money changing. There are several banks nearby that might. Try Umpqua, Riverview Columbia bank. They should be able to help.
