Just left after receiving an epidural for herniated disc pain. Friendliest doctor office experience I’ve ever had. Compassionate, informative, timely. Highly recommended.

Moved to maine in 2011. Came from Phoenix Arizona. My Neurologist worked at the Barrow Institute in Phoenix Arizona. And I was diagnosed out there with CNS Vasculitis and MS. When I moved to Maine. I was referred to Dr. Selvitelli. She basically told me I was too young to be diagnosed with CNS Vasculitis and MS. I was 28 when I was diagnosed. I was 29 when I moved to Maine.. She removed every single medication that I was on. She specializes in migraines. I of course was diagnosed with chronic migraines as well. So she only treated me for that.. I stopped seeing her in 2014. Was transferred myself to Dartmouth Hitchcock Research Hospital for better care for my migraines. And now I see a MS specialist Dr. Degenhardt who treats me for my remitting MS because the MS just got worse over time due to not being treated correctly and she treats my CNS Vasculitis as well.. So I really really recommend NOT to go to this facility..

I really like the doctor I have seen twice now. However, the office is badly managed. After getting a referral here, they kept calling a number not in my file, and the wrong number to schedule my appointment. The correct number was on the referral. Therefore it took far longer than it should to get an appointment. Poor communication between departments. Never received a new patient packet ahead of my first visit. Important test results were not forwarded to the doctor before my follow up visit, though she reached out and tried to get them ahead of time. The time of one of my appointments was changed, without me being notified. I think they need a new office manager!

I never leave bad reviews, but my experience here was extremely discouraging. All the staff made me feel like I was annoying them/wasting their time. I felt like they just wanted me to hurry up and leave. I told them about the current medications I was on and how they are making me feel worse, and they didn't listen to me at all and just told me to up my doses and called it a day. I have been trying everything under the sun to figure out how to deal with my chronic migraines and they basically said "don't know, good luck". I sat in the parking lot defeated and crying after my appointment. Go somewhere else if you can, or stick with your primary care doctor. This was a huge waste of time and money.
