I really enjoyed hiking to the closer look of Skookum Falls. It's about a 2.5 mile hike, but it's well worth it! The falls are beautiful and it's a great workout. If you want to get to the closer look you can but it’s is very steep, so I wouldn't recommend it for elderly or kids.

Nice little hike not difficult at unless you want to hike up to the falls then is gers a little steep. It isn't a long way though! Enjoy!

My wife and I had a great time strolling along this wonderful trail. Our only objective... search for mushrooms and fungi. They were everywhere... so much to look at that it took us 3 hours to cover 1 mile 😅 Anyways, once we saw a large group heading back to the trailhead packed with mushrooms in their baskets we took that as our cue and decided to turn around ourselves.

well worth the hike. everything surrounding the trails is lush with deep green growth. the waterfall itself is one of the prettiest that I've been able to hike up right up too.
