Powells seafood is a STAPLE of my childhood and remains an establishment I frequent. Neither the prices, nor the quality of their classics have dropped in the past 10 years; those in the restraunt industry like myself recognize this impressive feat. I only wish they would being back the house soup!

I like trying a lot of different Chinese restaurants to see how their dishes compare as well as any specials they have. This particular place has some subpar menu items, but most of it is good or great. I would highly recommend the fried chicken, some of the tastiest I've ever had, and the chow mein is good too. Their egg flower soup is a strange color and not the best, and they also give you too much. I had no issues with service, I thought that the employees were actually really quite nice to me. We ordered a lot of food, and the waitress helped me carry my food out to the car since I would have struggled a lot as I was picking up the food alone. It was also cooked and prepared very quickly.
