I was only here for a birthday party, but the staff was friendly and the place was immaculate. There was a lifeguard on duty for the pools. The club looks and feels expensive. I don't know what memberships cost, but I'm sure it's a pretty penny. There is plenty of parking. The place wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon.

I can not fault the club it's-self, the facilities and staff have been great in my short time of using the centre. However, my warning to any new members is to read the detail of the contract. I joined as I wanted to swim regularly, having just relocated from the UK. We were staying with family in Pelham, so Salem was an Ideal location. We subsequently bought our own house and moved to Amherst, too far away to continue my membership. When I went to cancel, I was informed that it's a 30 day notice period, fair enough, but oh no that's not it, there is also a $250 early cancelation fee on top! I thought these days of such deplorable clauses were a thing of the past!? I managed to have this knocked down to $200, wow thanks, because I moved more than 25 miles away, but only after having to produce confirmation of my new address, which it has to be said, was also questioned and I was told might not be sufficient. Seriously, all this just to cancel a gym membership! #thedevilisinthedetail

The Salem workout club is the best gym in NH by far. I've been going to the workout club for just over a year now and I couldn't be more happier with my progress. It's very open, clean, sanitized, and offers every machine you can think of. Also, every worker and manager there is extremely polite and helpful with anything you need.

As a member for about 8 months, I am frequently disappointed with the availability of the facilities that attracted me to the club, these being the pools, hot tubs, steam rooms. I had to upgrade my monthly membership fee in order to pick one of the two clubs convenient to my work location (Salem & Londonderry) that might have functioning equipment at any given time. Overall, the staff are nice, but give a blank stare when asked about repairs, and perhaps they can't control the expenditures. I understand some of this due to supply chain issues for parts and labor. I think the owners, whoever they may be, should step up the maintenance a bit. and if they do, they will have great facilities since there is much potential there in terms of location, and the gym equipment is pretty good.
