The employees were going as fast as they could. And very pleasant. I went on a busy day. Over an hour wait.

I had my papers checked at the desk when I first arrived, they said I was all set. I waited over an hour. So happy when my number was called only for the woman to say that she couldn't accept the proof of residence from the mail because it was not new enough. So frustrating!

LONG wait but that's to be expected at every BMV you go to. The staff were all helpful and kind.
Terri “MaineGirl” Ham
When you go there be prepared for a possible long wait. They were very friendly, polite and doing their best.

30 dollars
Okay, thank you for that, I do not have a passport, but I do have my social security card and my birth certificate at the ready, will that suffice at Town Hall?
5-12 dollars depending on how you request it and how far back you have them go
just walk in with your paperwork I believe and they will maybe use same picture. I had to renew mine because my last name changed so it may be different maybe not. not sure if that helps sorry if doesn't. was alot easier then I thought. maybe online as well. not sure about Maine but other states do online 🙂
They allowed my husband do so 14 weeks before his renewal date.
yes
$30 for real id and $5 for non real id
If you already have a Maine license with no issues to it, you can visit the Maine.gov site and select Drivers License, and Renewal/Replacement, and use the online renewal service. You will need your social security number, credit card and a printer. The license will be mailed to you. The fee is $5 for replacement. If you want to go to the BMV office, you will need to bring proof of lawful presence with a birth certificate or passport, an item with your written signature such as a social security card or signed official document, plus $5. You will be asked to fill out a short form. I suggest not going on Monday or Friday. These days are quite busy, generally. Replacing a license does not update the expiration date of a lost license. It will be the same as your lost license.
Yes, all State offices are open Monday.
64 and under is $30 for a standard license, $55 for a Real ID. 65 and up is $20 and $40.
yes
Yes they do!
Your old license an I believe 5/10$ from New card. Then if you don't look very different from the previous picture you can have the same pitcher but some people like to have a new pitcher and they can do that period all that is really need ed is your regular information nothing special
The doctor will send them a report and you may lose your license

try to get a duplicate title online if possible
I just did mine, all I needed was my proof of address, like a light or cable bill. Hope this helps.
You can walk in
No provide your own
yes
You need to make an appointment. Call ahead of time.
Have to call BMV and make an appointment
I know Roy's Driver's Ed is offering hybrid classes now.
Can get special plates and special registration but anything normal is handled at city hall. Quick and easy to make an appointment and just remember to wear your mask otherwise painless
Or a license, you need proof of address, an ID if you have one, Social Security card. I got my license here back in September, I lived in Rhode Island for the longest time and I presented them my old license and my proof of residence at my new address and my social security card and after that, just had to fill out a couple of pages of paperwork and then you wait your turn. The Rhode Island DMV was a nightmare, it always took at least 3 or 4 hours but the DMV here is very quick income Harrison! I was in and out in less than an hour and that was when it was pretty busy
How can I get a replacement title
Debra if you are attaining a new license or renewing your license, you do not have to get real ID, but it is good to have and doesn't cost any more, it just allows you to get in and out of federal buildings versus not having real ID
You have to show proof of address using a bill such as utility or have your landlord if you live in an apartment write a letterhead stating that you are a resident at their facility Etc, the DMV can't take your word for it that you are a resident if you just state so online, for all they know, you could be taking Residence at your old address most of the time, so in shorthand, you need some letter form of proof, at least that is my experience. Not trying to hinder you, just prepare you PROPERLY.
If you are getting a brand new license, yes, you will be opted to take an eye exam after your class, but if you are just taking a road test to be examined for a medical condition, I do not believe you have to take an eye test if they already have seen you
2-3 weeks.. I've been waiting 2 weeks so far but it hasn't come in the mail yet. Should be here by this time next week.
I forgot to renew my license, it was due in December. How much will it cost?
Do I need a inspection
Call.DMV
Pay your Excise Tax in your community first. For $2 more you can do it all at your townhall.
Just change it online or stop and grab change of address card

Can I get a renewel ID mailed to me and the cost to do it online
How to decorate my bedroom with the cottage decor
You do if you have not supplied it to them before. There are some other forms of identification that are accepted in lieu of a birth certificate. You may also need proof of residency. If you have supplied those things before, I would recommend checking online to see if they will allow you to just renew it that way. Only cost an extra $2 and will save you the hassle.
can i register a mass vehicle in maine? requirments?
Yes, you can get a state issued ID or a drivers license by taking an exam/road test and showing proof of drivers education class. If you just want a Maine issued state ID, you must prove US Citizenship (Birth certificate) Maine Residency (certified school transcript or pay stub) and two forms of ID (examples: birth certificate, social security card, passport, etc.) The application fee is $5
