I am extremely upset and heartbroken. I adopted a cat from you on May 15. You had his name is Clark, but we called him Jack. Yesterday afternoon we had to let go of him. Apparently he had cardiac issues and was born with a virus. I think it is disgusting that you don’t fully examine the animals that you let people adopt, let them get close and fall in love with them, only to find out that you gave them a sickly animal. We should have known better since basically you are a pet store and we all know how pet stores take care of animals, they don’t!

I recently adopted a cat through PALS and the entire process could not have been smoother. From talking with the PALS volunteers about the type of cat I wanted, to visiting and deciding which cat is best, to the actual adoption, it was seamless. I am so thankful for the PALS team for being so thorough and thoughtful with their cat placements, and for preparing me as a cat owner. Highly recommend them!

I can't say enough about this organization. I walked in looking for a cat/kitten. There was a scrappy looking cat that was so sweet. He was found wandering around the streets. PALS took him in and he lived with a foster woman. She loved him. I fell for him and adopted him. I could see how much she loved him. She made me promise to take good care of him. These people really care about the animals. ......and he's not scrappy anymore. He's loved and spoiled. Thanks PALS.

We were unhappy with the Northeast Animal Shelter as we felt they were great to pets and horrible to humans, so as we were leaving there upset we happened to stop in Petsmart to see if they had any animals for adoption. PALS is located inside and was excellent. They were sweet and kind and I'd recommend going there to anyone. We were treated great and found a pet we absolutely love! Thank you PALS!!!

We have a waiting list but it is not very long. The first step is to fill out an application on our website. Most of our available cats are able to be viewed on our website. Our adoption center is open to approved adopters only with a scheduled appointment. The cats can also be viewed from the window at the center and our new cats generally arrive on Tuesday afternoon.
Yes, there are fees for adopting cats.
You can visit the website and fill out an application to be put on the Kitten List!
Yes, please fill out an application on our website.
They post their adoptable cats on their website and Facebook page. New cats every week.
Sorry, we are a feline-only rescue.
You need to call them before you bring them into the store. They don't have a shelter, the cats at PetSmart are temporarily there until they are adopted, other than that they rely on foster homes for the cats. Hope that helps
At Pals we are an all volunteer group so yes we always could use help. There should be a volunteer application online or in Facebook. Just look up PALS feline rescue group, Salem ma
PALS only does cat adoptions.
