Employees don't care. They act like your bothering them when you ask for help. They are not engaged in their work. They appear bored and don't care about the animals or the store, nor do they know anything about animal care. I only go there because I need a certain product a couple of times a year. I won't go again. I will drive to the Pet smart just to avoid their negative attitude and lack of focus or caring for customers needs.

I took my dog for a grooming appointment to this location due to our usual location being booked. I was told my dog was banned after he was groomed for being “aggressive”, which is out of character for my pet. When I asked for clarification I did not get a clear answer. I got different versions from an employee and a manager. Since the appointment my dog hides, wakes me up at night, and flinches when anyone moves toward him. I am concerned for my dog and do not know what could have happened to him for this response. They kept insisting I go to the vet “for his safety” and the manager said to put him on medication which I felt was out of her scope of practice since only animal doctors can make that recommendation. I am still processing what happened but felt I needed to write a review to warn others.

All I found was expensive cat food. I went across the street to stater Brothers and purchased a very high rated customer satisfaction cat food veterinary approved for about half of the price that Petco wanted. Also there was a dog being trained that was really barking and howling very loud. I'm surprised they don't have a separate area for that.

Masks and sanitizer...pretty much standard operating procedure everywhere. You're Safe
