First let me start by saying that I drive to OTM from about an hour away. The people there are always very helpful, happy to answer questions, but just as importantly, places like this need to stick around for people who like to try things on before buying them. They have a HUGE selection of Boxing and Muay Thai gloves. Multiple weights and styles of the same model or color, etc. It’s great to have somewhere to go to try them on before you buy them. The prices are competitive as well. Maybe you’ll save a couple bucks buying online, but I will warn you that you may not like what you end up with. It’s happened more than once that I went into buy a specific thing (which they had in stock) and after trying something else, I walked out with something other than what I went to buy. I’ve never been “upsold” irresponsibly either. They’re there to ensure you’re happy with what you buy and suggest what you might like as an alternative if you were to spend a few more bucks, but they’re not pushy about it. I wish OTM was closer to me (these gas prices!) but since they’re not, I just have to make sure my trips are worth it. I’ll continue to buy from them solely so I can contribute to them staying around. It’s also why I wrote this review. To stress the importance of supporting our (somewhat) local businesses.
