Their ED is much quicker and more efficient than EMMC in my opinion. Amanda Brooks, PA-C was fantastic and is a such a kind soul. This was my first time at this hospital and I would certainly go back if needed! Thank you! π₯°

Had left leg amputated 2 days after Christmas morning and I was treated excellent.the nurses on the 4th floor were really amazing. Can't say thanks enough. Was their for almost 4 weeks because of the bad health I was in and they truly saved my life. They will never understand how much they did for me, not just medically but mentally also. They gave me hope made me want to get better and give back to others . All the doctors were excellent.

Get ready for the experience of a lifetime. Bills that you never get (since Covid started), referrals eventually will happen, and they take several months to transfer medical records. Majority of the doctors are good and knowledgeableβ¦thatβs why they get one star.

I recently changed Primary Care Doctors and took advantage of the new openings for new patients at St. Joes. The level of patient care is so much better than the other big hospital in Bangor! It doesn't feel so commercial and cold like some hospitals. The staff is always very attentive and answers any and all questions. They take the time to get to know patients instead of talking for 3 minutes and handing someone 5 prescriptions. I never feel like cattle being herded by irritable staff at St. Joes. They also have a wonderful online service where you can access your medical chart and test results in real time. I recently had an Ultrasound of my abdomen and by the time I got home, the Dr had already read it and said all was normal. I also get a very nice follow up letter from any Dr. or specialist I see. You never have to chase down and hassle them to get test results.

They don't do heart caths anymore. The cath lab closed last year.
Links will drive you but you have to sign up with penquis ahead of time
Unfortunately they do not have a gift/flower shop anymore
what are the laboratory hours
Call 907-3600 and press option 1. You will need to sign a release to get your records. Tomorrow they are closed but will be open Friday
Call the hospital main number and ask.
I would agree with Jerry, the valet service is courteous and prompt, and the front desk volunteers will be able to direct you where to go.
Call 907-3100 their Care Choice department that can help you with who is taking on new patients
The main entrance is on Broadway. The ED entrance is on Congress. The ED doesn't have a separate address
Hi Donna. Thank you so much for your concern. We will pass your note on along to our security team and see what we can do to add additional spots. Thank you again!
You can go the the ER of any hospital and they should have a social worker or someone who can provide you with a list of local resources.
I believe it's at 8am but I could be wrong...
No they don't
It depends on were the patient is (ie ccu or regular in patient) I know there waiting room is open from 6am to 8pm. You can contact patient rooms from 7am to 930pm by calling 207-907-3 then the room number. Hope that helps!
