This restaurant offers excellent cocktails, delicious food, and a modest menu with a variety of choices. Yes, there are some seafood dishes, but if you want something else, you can find it here. The building gives off a dive bar atmosphere. It's a little rough around the edges and cramped. But wait staff work together as a team and are very friendly and hospitable. Prices are what you'd expect in a resort area. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking in the lot behind the building.

We went on a Saturday night at 6pm. It was busy, but the service and food was exceptional. Started with the delicious pretzel bread, had two different kinds of soup, I had the fish melt with the fish of the day(flounder) and my husband had the Roadside Meatloaf. Our waitress was attentive even with it being so busy and only two servers. This was our first visit at a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed. If you like cocktails, I highly recommend trying some of their mixed drinks. Between my husband and I we had 4 different cocktails and they were all well designed with excellent flavor balance. Finished off the night with a slice of key lime pie which is made locally and was also wonderful. If we had one complaint, it would be the gravy for the meatloaf was a bit salty for our taste.

Shouldn't have trusted the reviews. Not children friendly. We were sat and told, "we don't do high chairs and we don't have a kids menu" Their only option was buttered pasta with parmesan. The drinks were terrible. We waited over 40 minutes for 2 halibut specials and 2 pastas. We finally asked for the food to be boxed up because the kids had enough. The pan seared halibut was burned and dry. The rice had no spice/salt. The pasta was dollar section kids pasta for ours and the kids. It was supposed to have shrimp and scallops. I had 1 scallop and some pieces of scallop. The pimento appetizer was good but didn't make up for the rest.

This place was a pleasant surprise for us. The Pimento Cheese app was delicious. The Ribeye was fantastic, perfectly cooked, as was the Duck, which we loved. The flounder special was also excellent and even the ceasar salad was great. My only complaint is no kids menu. I have to imagine they hear this often. We figured something out for the kids but some options for kids would have been nice. The food was excellent, though, I highly recommend.

There is a ramp along the side if the restaurant but I believe there is a step to get in the front door. Also, the booths inside are up a step.
