My husband and I have been coming to this winery since it was Windy Point. When that closed we were so disappointed... But then we were so excited when it came back as Freehand Cellars! There are a TON of wineries in this area, and this one is by far the beautiful one we've been to. It is up on a big hill with a gorgeous view, has a fabulous tasting room (big building actually), spectacular grounds with lots of seating, wonderful wine (of course!) and the pièce de résistance...a menu with delicious food to eat with your tasting! Their taste flight is served in cute little carafes with two ounces each of five wines for $18, perfect for sharing; but they waive the tasting fee if you buy two bottles. I just can't say enough good things about this winery.. 😊

A beautiful event setting, a gorgeous view of the valley, with a great selection of wines, ales, food and snacks!

This place is amazing for so many reasons. First, views and vibes. The winery itself is beautiful. The architectural design of the interior is a show stopper not to mention the views of Yakima Valley and Mt. Adams. It couldn't get better visually (oh, and they have a fire!!!). Secondly, wines and food. The wines are wonderful. They are all so easy to drink, my fav is their Pinot Gris. You can purchase a bottle (which the prices are reasonable as well, from $16-$28) to enjoy in the tasting room or out back while looking towards Mt. Adams. Tastings are $10, but are waved with a bottle purchase! The food options are great as well. I love that they offer small bites so that I can pick and choose several options instead of having to commit to one big one (from $4-$15). My favorite is a simple herb and bread dish they offer that is only $5. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Didn’t realize Yakima had wineries. This is one of the best wineries I’ve been to here in Washington. Every wine on their tasting list was really good. We need up buying half of the bottles on their tasting menu. I can’t believe this winery has only been around for a year. I can’t wait to see the great wines that come through here. And they have a cool AirBnB here. I’ll need to see if I can do a family weekend out here soon.
