I visited here the first time maybe a one or two months ago (can’t remember but it was recently), but I was hesitant to write a review. My issues were with the enclosures many were lack luster and seemed very sad to be full time enclosures for the animals. (It also smelled really bad) I purchased some decor and supplies which were fine, and I purchased some isopods and springtails. I had asked for isopods and they ended up giving me springtails, (after a ton of confusion for some reason) I finally got the isopods and decided to anyways buy the springtails. However I kept the springtails quarantined and in their own case at home where I could definitely find them. I know they are hard to find sometimes, but there was little substrate and I could not find them at all so I’m guessing I paid for a cup of charcoal. Whatever that’s fine, my last issue though is with the customer service. The person I talked was very unhelpful, I asked him a question and he just pointed me towards a direction in the store not at all answering the question I had. The other employees were fine I had no major issue with them. Just as another review stated they were very biased seeming more helpful and inviting to customers they liked or knew more. The very last thing I was un-satisfied with was the profanity. Some of the employees were swearing and just overall weren’t being very professional in front of customers. If you still can’t tell by my review I was very disappointed having driven some way to visit the store.

We went looking for pet rats for my daughter, and no one had them until we heard the name Jabberwock (from a competitor no less lol). We have been doing business here for about 4 years now, at their previous location, and now they're right down the street here in Stoneham. Extremely friendly staff!!! Never felt like we were being taken advantage of it any way. When my daughter's first two rats had to be put down, they had such a variety that my daughter wanted to take them all home lol. We recommend doing business here for all your reptilian needs. And of course, for your pet rats

Love them!! I have been going exclusively to Jabberwock Reptiles for over 10 years and really appreciate there being a shop in my area just for reptiles. They are knowledgeable, friendly, will spend time with you answering questions and they also offer a boarding service for your pet when you go on vacation at a reasonable price. I love this service because you know your pet is taken care of professionally and surrounded by people that care.

Yes they do, they may also have some up for adoption!
We have in the past, but we don't come across them very often. These species are probably better purchased directly from a breeder.

They have an inventory on their website! The have links to spreadsheets for what they have.
The tortoise is probably trying to run through the glass because they can't perceive glass as an obstacle. She may want more space to roam around or needs more humidity and/or heat. If you are worried your tortoise is sick we have some vets that we can recommend. The top 2 are the vets we have used personally, the rest are recommended by our customers.
