The apt complex over all is well. Because I was thru corporate housing there was a lot of information I didn’t receive on the front end like my mail box detail but after calling the front office they set me up good. It’s not me or the other interns fault that we flew in the week our property manager was going on a honeymoon. So there were a lot of introductions missing to how this property site runs. Also non of us got access to the pool, lockers, and gym until you say something. So Friday they gave me a card pass however that shouldn’t been brought in the first envelope. Lastly our cabinets are ugly and straight up ply wood.

I’ve been a tenant for over 5 years now. I saw some negative reviews and I had to say something. People complain about the washers and dryers breaking down. I’m in the oldest building and my machines have never broken down, probably because I don’t overload them! I’m convinced that overloading and the tenant’s disregard for the instructions on the machines are the reason there are breakdowns. Furthermore you can’t hold the maintenance team responsible for all the bad consequences of Covid and the two years of disruption it caused. EVERY place was affected. As for my own personal experiences here, I have to say that with very minor exception, my experience here has been near perfect. Most of my wonderful experience has been due to the humane and extreme helpfulness of Lucinda of the leasing office, who was knowledgeable about every single question I ever had and always immediately took care of anything of concern that came up. These days what is MOST lacking in apartment living is the human communication aspect. Lucinda Gamboni has demonstrated that this ultra important element of doing business, is still very much alive and well at the Lennox of Olathe! Thanks, Lucinda, for making me feel like family.

The actual apartment is nice enough in terms of size and location but the maintenance is still just as slow/non-existent. Almost every appliance has had some issue or another and literal months will go by without any form of response on the issues. Have now officially had to go two months without a working dishwasher as of writing this review. Management is nice enough but it’s pretty alarming that maintenance issues go un-attended for months but they are very quick to email you if you have a balance of less than $50 on your account for more than a day.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE HERE. Every single tenant I have spoken with agrees that the maintenance here barely exists, apartments are not cleaned or renovated properly between renters, and the leasing agents are all unresponsive and rude. Attached to this review is a picture of my "Notice of Intent to Vacate" and for anyone interested in living here, please take some time out of your day to read my letter and learn about how terrible this apartment complex is.
