NOWHERE on their site does it say their policy is to not house dogs over 65 lbs. The ONLY thing it states is dogs over that weight needs to do a daycare trial. So be forewarned, don't try here if you have larger dogs. Poor advertising

After several attempts at other pet boarding places.We decided on V.I.Pet Resort.They treated our girl with the care the others did not. We even had pictures of her sent to us during our vacation.

This is a deep and emotional post. My dog Chloe died because of VI Pets gross negligence. We checked our healthy young bulldog into this hotel because my wife and I were having our wedding ceremony in Ocala. We told them that she couldn’t be outside for more than 10 minutes because she’s a bulldog and she’s prone to overheating. We get a call saying that our dog has been rushed into hospital because of heat stroke, she crashed twice while on the vets table. On the morning of our wedding I then drove back down to Orlando to pick up Chloe. She was stressed and unfed. I took her back to our Airbnb in Ocala and as we celebrated our wedding our beautiful dog died. She didn’t survive the night. The owner of VI pets Michael Reiner will not take liability for their actions . They are unsympathetic and have constantly accused of us lying. We are beyond angry and extremely heartbroken. Please don’t leave your dog in their care.

@adventuresofcrystalandjayden @petportraitsbymaui & @mcaldwell0529 would give 10 stars if we could. V.I.Pet Resort is a great safe haven that provides a wonderful space for your dog to be themselves. We love bringing our baby frenchie (Jayden) there because, he gets to make friends, and be loved the same way we love him. They always send us pictures of him interacting with others, and we love how they do a live video of all the babies playing with one another. All the animals get treated equally with much love and compassion, which we greatly value. Thank you V.I.Pet Resort for being such a wonderful resource for our family. Highly recommended!
